Coheed and Cambria has returned with their new album "Year of the Black Rainbow".
A great man once said "It's like tool and nine inch nails got together and had a baby... then it learned how to actually play guitar."
This album sees C&C taking a much darker turn that some of their previously light hearted albums. Not much of the bright songs like "Running free" or my personal favorite "A favor house atlantic". Definitely one of those CDs you need to listen to straight through rather than a song at a time because its like an epic story. If you are a C&C fan its definitely worth a buy but if you haven't listened to them yet it might be better to look into some of their earlier work as this is definitely not friendly for those not familiar with them.
Will have to listen to it through a few more times but this is shaping up to be one of my favorites.
